Arena

Overview

The second incarnation of the Arena is located west of the Outskirts. This location was created, similar to the reasoning behind Shilla Bay, Footface Island and the Haunted Islands, to provide alternative paths to explore while playing Shilla. The addition of this location and the Farm Lands area was also created to make the beginning of the game more interesting vs the traditional get 40 Int during character creation and use the Clean the Beach quest reward experience to boost your character to the point that training in the Outskirts became possible.

Creatures

In several rooms along the main path you will find Arena Guards, i.e. clones of Town Guards, that will kill you deader than dead. The Arena section contains the three creatures, Magician, Pocket Thief, and Weapon Master.

The southern section of this area contains the Doppelgangers. Here you will find creatures with your character's name, creatures with other character's names, and then elite versions of the same. Defeating them gains your character 1 gold and no experience, but dying in this section only results in being teleported back to Shillatown's Fountain.

Amenities

The area contains a clone of Shillatown's Fountain and the shop for trading in Trophies gained from doing the Danger Zone mini game. Below you will find the tables of what can be exchanged.

Dark Trinkets can be exchanged at a 1 to 1 ration to Trophies.


Training

Training vs the Arena creatures is slightly better experience than the Angry Side of the Chicken Coop. The Arena creatures dont drop food, but you can pick up T0 weapons to sell, making this area your character's second gold farming opportunity after the Crab Lord on the Beach. Determining where you should train depends on where the bounties are and if the Kill the Fox quest is active for your character.
