Astral Plane

Introduction

After defeating the Warlock, this area and the 2 related to it (Spiritual Plane, & Umbral Plane) are part of the next level of zones in Shilla. These zones are a higher level of monsters, that require you to have the Divinity Bracelet in order to use your special attack from your advanced guild, as this is the only way to deal enough damage to kill these monsters.

Astral Plane

Once you have forged the Astral Pendant(see Astral Forge page), and have the Good alignment, go to the 3rd level of the Sky Castle, kill the Arch Angel, and you can travel though the portal there. If you do not have all of the requirements, it will refuse entry.

Movement

It is an endless zone that goes in 6 directions: (East-West(x), North-South(y), Up-Down(z)). Your movement is endless, you can walk forever in a certain direction and the numbers will just increase.

Creature Spawn

You will need this table below. This will tell you the creature group a certain monster belongs in.

Going Up with Z increases the odds of seeing anything from groups 8-10. Going Down with Z increases your odds of seeing anything in groups 1-7.
Going North with Y increases the odds of seeing anything from groups 1-5. Going South with Y increases your odds of seeing anything in groups 6-10.
Going East with X decreases the odds of groups 2-3. Going West increases your odds of seeing anything from anything in groups 8-10.

In general theory, the higher the numbers in the positive, the stronger the creatures will become. The more negative(minus) they are, the weaker they are.

You can however, eliminate 3 groups entirely from a section dependent on the last digit of your (x,y,z) coordinates. For example, if I didn't want to fight a Astral Hunter, I need to make sure one of my coordinates ended in a 9. An Astral Elf would be a 4, and a Draconian would be a 8. So if I had the coordinates(19,-14,18) I would not see these 3 regardless of the other rules.

This can help you narrow down your groups to the very weakest sections, or the very strongest sections. Fighting anything in the middle may require you to deal with lower monsters to be on the safe side.

Rings

Any creature in Astral has a chance to drop an Astral Ring. These rings are shown below, but the first part determines a resistance to a certain alignment, which will help you survive hits in this and other planes. The second part is a bonus to either mana, life, or fatigue.

Stronger creatures have a chance to drop stronger rings. The Astral Gargoyle is the only monster who can drop the highest quality, and the Drifting Soul only drops the lowest quality. Everything else in the middle is a step progression between stat bonus quality, and alignment bonus quality.

An example would be a Astral Band of Extended Mana.
Gives 8% resistance to Good Alignment and a 12% mana bonus.
