Circus Quests

Useful Information:

Rope

The Rope in the middle of the actual Circus Arena leads to a Pedestal. The Pedestal when entered, can spawn 3 groups of monsters and 3 NPC's in the stage without triggering a show. I haven't confirmed if each NPC belongs with a specific group of monsters or not, but the NPC's are like this:

• Crazy Yuif - drops Shuffler
• Donald - drops Optimizer
• Enchantress - drops Upgrader

You won't fight them in the traditional sense, but if you cross paths with one, there is a chance one will drop one of these items needed in the later quests.

However, to use the Rope again, you must defeat all the monsters that show up. These are the groups that can spawn:

• 3 Circus Elephants
• 8 Snapping Turtles
• 5 Raijus

Once all the NPC's and regular monsters are eliminated, then you can respawn them through the rope pedestal.

Scrolls

The same logic applies to the main Circus Show itself. If you see any of these NPC's and you cross paths with one, you may just get the scroll itself. Just realize you need to spend tickets to start the show, so you may luck into 1 or 2, but you'll probably have an easier time just doing the quests themselves.

Quests

Phase 1: The Introduction

Circus - Edgar and Melanie (Start)

In the SW area of the Circus, you will find these two. They need you to kill 100 Vicious Orcs, which reside in the NE (Orange) area of the Circus.

Circus - Antonio

In the NE area of the Circus, you will find Antonio. He needs 100 Gremlins killed, which are in the SE corner (Green) of the Circus.

Circus - Free Ticket

In the SE area of the Circus, you will start this quest. You'll need to go to the NW corner, talk to the NPC there, and say the keyword "Antonio". This grants you the ticket. Turn it in at the SE area.

Phase 2: The Gremlin Trials

It is highly suggested to farm Ticket Snippets in the Circus area by defeating various monsters. Based on experience, stronger enemy groups seem to have higher drop rates. They disappear quickly, so loot them immediately.

You will need 250 Ticket Snippets to trigger the monsters required for the following quests. Some may be found by using the Pedestal in the NE corner of the Circus Ring and climbing back down from the portal.

Quests 1-3 start in the same position: the upper level of the Circus, accessible by going Up from a spot in the NE corner.

Circus - Gremlins 1

Defeat 1 Snapping Turtle.

Circus - Gremlins 2

Defeat 2 Raijus.

Circus - Gremlins 3

Defeat 3 Elephants.

Quests 4 and 5 start at the very top of the frame. Walk around where you did the first 3 quests, then go up until you reach the very top.

Circus - Gremlins 4

Defeat 6 Death Adders.

Circus - Gremlins 5

Defeat 5 Death Adders (Note: Quest text says "Yacks," but it refers to the same creature).

Phase 3: The Orc & Ringmaster Series

These NPCs are located along the middle of the Circus Stage. As long as there isn't a current event active, they should be easy to find.

Circus - Orcs 1

East side of Circus; Defeat 50 Daggermasters.

Circus - Orcs 2

NE side of Circus in the Dark Blue spot; Defeat 50 Fire Eaters.

Circus - Orcs 3 - Ringmaster

Middle of white section in ring area; defeat 50 Ringmasters.
Note: This quest and the three subsequent Ringmaster quests can be repeated daily. Quest location is the same for all of them.

Circus - Ringmaster 1

Kill 100 Sir Leopolds (Northern part of the Circus).

Circus - Ringmaster 2

Kill 100 Walrussians (Western part of the Circus).

Circus - Ringmaster 3

Kill 100 Emu-gators (NW part of the Circus).

Phase 4: Endgame Branching Quests

Note: These three branches unlock simultaneously after completing Ringmaster 3.

The Optimizer Path

These are found in the NW corner of the Circus.

• Circus - Optimizer 1: Obtain the item from Donald.
• Circus - Optimizer 2: Turn in the Medal you received.
• Circus - Optimizer 3: Kill 500 Ali-Gators.

The Shuffler Path

These are all found on the West side of the Circus.

• Circus - Shuffler 1: Obtain the item from Crazy Youf.
• Circus - Shuffler 2: Turn in the Medal you received.
• Circus - Shuffler 3: Kill 500 Beer Meetings.

The Upgrader Path

These are all found on the North side of the Circus.

• Circus - Upgrader 1: Obtain the item from the Enchantress.
• Circus - Upgrader 2: Turn in the Medal you received.
• Circus - Upgrader 3: Defeat 500 Pumuras.

Shows

There are 3 Shows you can start:

Butterflies (50 Tickets)

Here you will spawn 10 Butterflies that drop various colors of Pixie Dust. One of the "Butterflies" is the "Master Alchemist" who can drop the scroll (low drop rate) for Alchemy. Alternatively, taking one of each dust to the Gnome Village can get you the skill instead.

Main Show (250 Tickets)

Standard show required for several quest completions.

Giants (~400-500 Tickets)

Spawns difficult, tanky Giant creatures. These drop rare items like Carbonite, Trophies, and Weapon Badges.
