Danger Zone

Overview

Danger Zone is a type of mini game. A player enters the one directional path and continues encountering more difficult creatures. Killing is required to move and the creatures only drop Trophies. Neither gold or experience is gained.

Location

The portal to the Danger Zone is located one south and one west of the Sewer entrance. Having the Permission item is required to use the portal and you have to kill the Warrior or Sewer Rat for the portal to appear. These Permissions can neither be found or created, but are occasional gifts from Admin, i.e. Lord Buggy.

Gameplay

The game looks at the strongest monster you have killed on the wall, and gives you creatures around that level. The strength of the creature will increase until you will encounter a creature that will kill you. Make sure you use Consider for any creature you have never seen or are not familiar with. Spells, skills, songs, potions, food, and equipment changes are available in the Danger Zone, and can help increase the number of creatures you are successful at defeating.

Trophies

Trophies are collected and can be redeemed in the Trophy Shop for rare items in the north part of the Arena. These items include low level elite armor, foods, jewelry, and exchanging them for Dark Trinkets. Make sure to pick up the trophies as they drop. They disappear after 5 minutes.

Leaving the Danger Zone

Once you have encountered a creature that consider says can kill you the only way to leave the DZ is to teleport out.

Recommendations

The impact of the majority of the items that can be exchanged for trophies are minimal. Defense from armor isn't a factor early in the game, though having even +5 in a stat can be helpful. The potions will help vs bosses, but can be found as drops, and food only decreases the amount that you have to consume and is plentiful. The wristlets can help with experience gain if you don't need the stats or effect from a bracelet. The Burning Blue Ring is good for an in between having two Glowing Rings and affording two Lightening Rings, but the cost in trophies might be prohibitive. Mostly I recommend collecting the trophies and storing them safely in your inventory to be exchanged for Dark Trinkets. This is an item that you'll need lots off later in the game for completing certain specialty guild and storyline quests.
