Introduction
The Farm Lands is the alternate, more interesting, beginning area created in 2023. It allows players an opportunity to learn some game mechanics, become more familiar with the area around Shillatown, and complete a few quests. The area is made up of several distinct sections with unique creatures, providing alternative training areas to the Beach and Outskirts.
Muddy Dirt Road
This is the starter area of the game, and the easiest. The 3 monsters here barely hit for anything, and the food is decent enough. Make sure you get the Rusty Dagger from the quest in town. Read here to see the quests for this section, and also this page has most of the newbie quests in the game as well.
| Name | Health | Creature | Align | Armor Resist | Magic Resist | Attacks | Max Hit | Experience | Gold | Drops |

Chicken Coop
This is the next section of the Farm Lands, which requires 20 Charisma. Here you will find more a couple more starter quests. First one is gathering 12 Chicken Eggs for 500 gold, the 2nd is killing the Rooster for 20,000 experience, and the last one is killing The Fox for 100,000 experience.
There are 2 sections to the Chicken Coop. First section is the one closest to the entrance, that is the easier section(rooster included). The other one has the harder enemies(fox included), and that is along the east path that goes up through to the Outskirts.
With 36, 40, or 44 Intelligence a character can exit the Farm Lands west of the Chicken Coop and enter the Outskirts.
The Fox does drop a Fox Cap, which gives 20 Charisma, and can help you get into the next section without training additional stats. However, the spawn rate is low(1%), and the drop rate for that is somewhere around 40%.
Be careful when training here, especially the 2nd section. The hits can creep up on you and diminish your food supply quickly.

Potato Fields
This is a little side area that has some quests that can be done with the Harvesting Skill. If you need the tool for Harvesting, it can be found in the Northwest area of the Muddy Dirt Road.
Read this page for more details: Farm Land Quests.
Completing these quests allows access to Eddie's Ranch and Orchards.
There are no monsters in this section.
With 54, 60, or 66 Strength a character can exit the Farm Lands south of the Potato Field and enter the Sewers.
Muddy Dirt Road Pt. 2 + Orchards
This little section of road after the Potato Fields has stronger monsters, from the first part.
This area is a little stronger, difficulty being between Outskirts and Sewers level. You can continue your harvesting in the Orchards and get some Apples, which can heal for a decent amount at this stage of the game.

| Amgry Foreman | 600 | Other | Earth | 5% | 0% | 1 | 145 | 2999 | 1 | Amarena Cherry, Magic Apple, Apple |
Eddie's Ranch
You'll need 50 Charisma to enter this section, but this is the strongest section of this area. This area falls in-between the Sewers and Vast Valley for difficulty.
Picking up Workhorses actually decreases your weight value, so you are able to carry more items. This may be useful in the beginning stages of the game.
| Name | Health | Creature | Align | Armor Resist | Magic Resist | Attacks | Max Hit | Experience | Gold | Drops |
| Coyote | 800 | Animal | None | 1% | 0% | 1 | 155 | 3255 | 1 | |

| Horse Thief | 1000 | Humanoid | None | 5% | 0% | 2 | 220 | 4000 | 12 | Workhorse |
Bp's Notes
This area is a decent training area for start of the game. Make sure you get the Rusty Dagger so you add about 10 points of damage an attack.
Check the Farm Land Quests for quests you can do. Make sure you get the Chicken and Egg quest done, 500 gold and about 40 base Charisma should be enough to buy a starter weapon for the game. After that, you may be able to start doing some training and quests at the Beach.
Killing the Fox that is a 1% spawn on the far east side of the chicken coup map, can possibly get you a Fox Cap which is +20 Charisma to your stats. This only will help with increasing Mana and helping get first hit on the Crab Lord in the Beach.
I wouldn't go out of your way to get it, at some point you'll just be too high of a level to bother with it.
Harvesting can be a way to get some fast food supply, but once you hit the Beach and get Crab Legs, food shouldn't be an issue.
The rest of the monsters in other areas can be alternative training areas to Outskirts and Vast Valley, but unless one has a good Bounty, you can most likely skip a lot of this extra stuff.
Be careful with the food you eat here, some of it heals for more of one stat than another. 95% of Shilla food heals for all 3 stats equally, so this is the exception.
