Making up one of the three Promised Islands, you will find the Lizardfolk. They are located by going S from the coordinates 4, 81, but actually having finished the corresponding Bottle Quests is also required to proceed into the area. The sea section does contain ship that you can combat, but at this point in your adventuring career, the reward isn't worth the effort or time.
As with the other race islands you are required to complete a series of fetch quests in order to completely explore the islands, including battling Elite and beyond level creatures. Once completed the island does provide an excellent location to farm selected pieces of elite versions of Aqua Shellplate and Illusionary armor.
The drop rate for these creatures is pretty low. Wait until you can 1 round these creature before trying to complete the quests, and when you reach the Elite armor quests I also suggest waiting for an Elite Hunting Day.
The food dropped by the inhabitants of the Lizardfolk Hideout, Lizard Webs, allows a character to Swim for 2 minutes and can be stacked. i.e. you can consume an unlimited number of them to swim for as long as you need safely. Equipping an item that allows a character to swim is preferable.
