Mage's Guild

The guild is located 3 west and 1 south of fountain. By joining the Mage guild, your Grope attack damage will be nullified (become zero damage) as all guild members are required to use attack spells to fight creatures. In compensation, you will have access to get and learn all exclusive spells available in the guild.
-Becca says…although becoming a mage does hide your attack button you can go into your options and have it show the attack button again. doing this allows you to attack with your equipped weapon as well.

Joining…

Joining the Mage guild is simple. Just travel 3 west from town fountain and south and Walla! Plain and simple. (You may only be in one Primary guild at a time Mages, Thieves, or Fighters so once you join one the others will be locked out for 24 hours it is not recommended to swap guilds . Once joined you can continue your advancement as a Mage by joining an available Elemental Specialty Guild for the Mage's Guild: Wandwielder, Orbmaster, Tomeholder, and Staff Controllers.

If you leave a guild, you will keep your spells. However, to use them you must be in the proper guild to cast them.

Elemental Guilds (Sub / Specialty Guilds for Mages Guild)

Wand Wielders is the Water Elemental based guild and uses Charisma as it's primary damage spell power modifier.
Orb Master is the Air Elemental based guild and uses Strength as it's primary damage spell power modifier.
Tome Holders is the Fire Elemental based guild and uses Wisdom as it's primary damage spell power modifier.
Staff Controllers is the Earth Elemental based guild and uses Constitution as it's primary damage spell power modifier.

Quest 1 (.53% total spell increase)

Your first quest given is a test of spell power and knowledge for workings there-in. So you need to go to train your spells (probably Teleport to 10-20 and Magic Shield as you see fit) and get a total of all of them 100+ altogether.

Quest 2 (1000+ Mana) (3.3% total spell increase)

Head into the Alchemy lab, Easy enough you just need to grab a fresh Green Pixie Dust from a Green Slime. Teleport to Drakmor Castle entrance, kill slimes for your prize and go back for your second promotion within Mages Guild.

Quest 3 (2000+ Mana) (4.9% total spell increase)

Head back to the Alchemy Lab. The Alchemist now requires you to get Hydraplate Helm, which is dropped by Hydra in the top of Mountain. Head over, kill some, and bring it back to the Alchemist. It appears it's not what he was looking for, and you're going to have to get a Hydraplate Buckler now. Head to the Mountain, again. Then bring the buckler back the the Alchemist. When you do, you'll recieve your third promotion.

Quest 4 (3000+ Mana) (6.1% total spell increase)

[[div]]
Head to the Lab again. The Alchemist is glad to see you, as he requires some new items (how convenient eh?). First of all, he wants you to get him a new Magic Water, old ones don't count. Head to the DDF, kill a Gorgon in the Pit, and bring the Magic Water back. It's not what he wanted (again of course), apparently, so now he wants a Sparkling Silver. Go back to the DDF, kill a few Archers or Imps, and bring it back to the Alchemist. Again it's not what he wanted. Now he will ask for a Red Wine, so head to the Maze. Here, search for Queen's Warriors or Queen's Guards, and kill them for the Red Wine. Bring it back, and you'll get your fourth promotion.

Quest 5 (5000+ Mana) (7% total spell increase)

For a change, go to the Guild Library again. Your next quest consists out of fetching and delivering a series of overdue books. The first book you need to get is rented by Ilanaqu, who teaches spells in the Elven Village. Once you've gotten there, she asks you if you can get her a Green Pixie Dust. Well, been there, done that, so do it again, and give it to her. She tells you she needs more time, probably trying to learn Acid Cloud, so she sends you back to the Guild. Now you must go to Kaalder, the Draconian spell teacher. Make sure you can enter the Draconian Lair.. you'll certainly need to be sure since the Drunken Draconians will always hit you on sight. When you get to Kaalder, he first needs some Fire Water before he returns the book… Best not to argue with a Draconian that teaches Fireball, right? Kill soms Orcs in the Upper Volcano, and bring the Fire Water to Kaalder. He gives you the book, which you can return now. Back in the Guild, you must now go to the Elven Loremaster, a.k.a the Story Teller, and ask him the book back. You'll find him in front of the Wandmasters guild. Go to the Elven Village, and the Loremaster will give you the book. Return it to the Mage Guild. Now go back to Ilinaqu, at the Elven Spell Shop. She will give you the last book, which you can return now. You'll be rewarded with your fifth promotion.

Quest 6 (7000+ Mana) (7.7% total spell increase)

Head to the Alchemist. This is a pretty short quest. You need to get an Azure Diamond, so go kill some Azure Golems and bring it back for your 6th promotion.

Quest 7 (10000+ Mana) (8.3% total spell increase)

Similar to Quest 4 of the Figher Guild, you must now kill a Death Angel, found in the Well, in the Great Plains, to acquire a Fire Storm Scroll. Bring it back to receive your 7th promotion.

Quest 8 (15000+ Mana) (8.8% total spell increase)

Go to the Guild Library again. In order to get some crucial information about the Warlock, you must seek out Arch-Druid, Bel Tistle, who is a Lich now, and teaches spells in Necropolis. I suggest you wear an Invisibility Ring while attempting to find him. When you've found him, he will ask for his favorite book. Go back to the Mage Guild, and get that book. Head back to the Lich, and give it to him. Satisfied yet? Not quite.. he wants you to go to the Yggdrasil in the Elven Village now, to get a Yggdrasil Leaf. This is very hard, as you must walk around the tree for a long time, in the hope you'll notice a Golden Treasure Chest sooner or later, which contains what you want. Try searching the first level, going past all spots, especially the dead ends, then the second to third levels, and the top, then go down again and repeat until you've found something. When you got it, give it to the Lich, and he'll hands over the book. Go back to the Guild, and you're quite ready for your 8th promotion.

Quest 9 (25000+ Mana) (9.3% total spell increase)

The Lich's already hinted at this. You must forge a Staff of Tera Motus. Bring it back. Once you've done this quest, your 9th and last promotion is well earned, as well as the special Mage Guild Forge the Wizard Bracelet, which will power up your offensive spells.

Quest 10 40000+ Mana (X.X% total spell increase)

Show the Mage Guild Forge the Wizard Bracelet (Part 1), then Slay Qrafaris Triwix to get your guild rank. The part 2 of the quest is attainable in the Hexagon level 1.
