New characters no longer start the game with a Knife After getting the Clean the Beach quest from the Mayor players will naturally head towards the Beach area, only to encounter a Town Guard that warns them of the danger of training there, especially without a weapon. He will suggest going to the Farm Lands where a weapon might be found. This quest is not required to enter the Beach, but as an alternative path for new characters to follow. Visiting the guard is required for the Rusty Dagger to appear.

Chicken or the Egg Quest

Once the character has the required 18, 20, or 22 charisma required to access the Old Farm House section of the Farm Lands they can receive this quest from individual watching the farm for the Farmer. He will mention that the production of the chickens is down and that something must have the worked up. He asks you to collect 12 eggs. Eggs don't have to be newly gained eggs, but will be taken from your inventory. The reward is 500 gold for doing so.

Rooster Woes Quest

Turns out that it might be the Rooster that is causing all the problems. You're directed to find the Rooster, located in the non-angry chicken part of the Coop. Find, then kill one, to complete the quest and return to the attendant. The reward is 20k experience.

Banish the Fox Quest

The attendant will then suggest that it might be a fox that is frightening the chickens and send you out to find one. It can be found randomly in the angry chicken part of the Coop. Kill one and return for your 100k experience points. This quest can be repeated after an hour.

Side Quest 1 - Bring Dehydrated Druid to the Captain

Help the Druids

This quest is probably your first objective once you have finished all the beginning of the game content and have gotten the Rescue the King quest from the Mayor. The prerequisite is a Wall Score or 500. This should be easily obtainable about the time a character is around one rounding the Sewer and/or Eddie’s Ranch. Once you have the 500 Wall Score, ask for someone to send you a Dehydrated Druid to buy from Trader Bob or grind enough life to survive the 351 max hit from an Avarial in the Druid Valley. The reward of 12M Exp and 5 Quest points should then put the character solidly in the Vast Valley, closing in on one rounding the Cemetery with a Warrior’s Mace.

Castle Quest/Rescue the King

The Castle Quest is a quest that you need to complete in order to fight the Park Ranger for access to the Mountain. It is also considered the first major quest you can do in Shilla.

The quest is received from the Mayor in Shillatown. You must have completed the Cleaning the Beach. An Intelligence of 90, 100 or 110, depending on race, is also required to enter Drakmor Castle

Completing the Quest

In order to beat this you need about 750 life, and a lot of food. There are 4 groups of monsters you need to face in order from weakest to strongest.

Reward

Once you get through all 4 floors you can rescue the King by clicking on the king link. The reward is 60 Million Experience, and 10 Quest points.

Side Quest 2 - Defeating the Park Ranger

Get Rid of the Park Ranger

The second quest of this series is to defeat the Park Ranger, something a character has to do anyway to get access to the Mountain area. Once you can survive the 1,075 max hit from the Park Ranger, load up on food, defeat them, and return to the Captain of the Guard. The reward of 100M Exp and 10 Quest Points will be helpful in getting you solidly one rounding the rest of the Mountain creatures and getting closer to training in the Ogre Cave.

Side Quest 3 - Retrieving a shovel in Lake Gala

At 1000 Wall Score, +/- depending on race, you can get the the quest to retrieve a little boy's shovel in Lake Gala, 1 East 1 North from the entrance. Your opponent becomes the Demon Crab. The Demon Crab can be found near the Middle Beach teleport spot.

The Demon Crab hits for up to 275 points of damage with its 1 attack. It is not aligned to any elemental sphere. It has 10% armor and 0% magic resistance.

The Demon Crab has about 90,000 points of life and killing it will earn the character approximately 400,000 points of experience and 750 pieces of gold. After defeating it, return to Lake Gala where the grandfather of the boy will give you 250,000 gold and +10 Charisma.

Defeating the Mermaid Hunter

The Mermaid Hunter made his home in a cave on the easternmost area of the Beach. His cave entrance is marked on the map of the Beach.

Getting the Quest

The quest is received from the Mayor in Shillatown once you have at least 160 Wisdom and a Wall Score of 1,250.

Completing the Quest

The Mermaid Hunter hits for a maximum of 1,650 points of damage with its 1 attack and isn't aligned with any of the elemental spheres.

He has 1,100,000 points of life and will absorb approximately 20% of physical attacks, and 5% magic resistance, so expect a longer fight. i.e. Have lots of food ready. (Bp suggests Pegasus Wings if you are a Fighter, AA suggests Ogre Pound Cake if you are a Mage.)

Reward

Defeating the Mermaid Hunter will earn the character approximately 4,200,000 points of experience, 7,300 pieces of gold.

After that, return to the Mayor in Shillatown and your character will also earn 300 million experience points, 20 Quest Points, and also a Mermaid Scale.

Rescue the Master Druid

The Master Druid Quest is the 4th Quest you need to complete in order to progress through the Storyline of Shilla.

Quest Requirements

The quest is received from the Mayor in Shillatown. You must have a Wisdom of 260 to receive the quest and enough Intelligence to enter the Druid Keep.

Completing the Quest

The goal with this quest is to go through all four floors of the Druid Keep and rescue the Master Druid that is imprisoned by a group of Black Dragons.

To do this, you need about 4,500-5,000 life with a decent amount of healing food. Here are the list of creatures you will face, in order from weakest to strongest.

Quest Reward

Finishing this quest nets you 2.13 billion experience and 30 Quest Points.

Reapers Walkway(Optional)

Once you can 1-round a Black Dragon, just accept this quest from the Sewers entrance in town, go to the Dungeons in the SE corner where you will find the walkway, kill all the Reapers and the Death Reaper, go back to town and claim reward.

Completing the Death Reaper quest will net you 750 million experience points and 20 Quest points.

Restoring the Arch Angel

The Arch Angel is one of the individuals that you must "rescue" from the influence of the Warlock. The Arch Angel is imprisoned at the top of the Sky Castle and you must defeat him to remove the control the Warlock has over the Arch Angel.

Quest Requirements

You must receive the quest from the Mayor in Shillatown, having completed the Rescue the Master Druid quest. This quest requires a Wisdom score of 501 and enough Intelligence to enter the Sky Castle.

Completing the Quest

Getting to the Arch Angel's location is both easier and more difficult than other quest. You must safely make your way from the Mountain top, through one spot of the Clouds, and then walk up through the three levels of the Sky Castle. Unlike such areas as the Druid Keep and Drakmor Castle you don't have to kill the creature to move. That is the easy part.

The harder part is that the entrance to the where the Arch Angel resides, the Golden Doors, is guarded by the Air Elemental. He is often a more difficult opponent than the Arch Angel himself.

The Arch Angel hits for a maximum 7,000 points of damage. Averages of around 4,000-5,000 have been reported. He has 40,000,000 points of life and is aligned with the sphere of Air. The Arch Angel does have 5 attacks, so Bedazzle and Magic Shield spells will be very effective against him.

Being a "major" opponent, the Arch Angel has high physical and magical defense, 40% and 25% respectively, as well as a high defense against scroll attacks.

Quest Rewards

The Arch Angel will always drop the Ruby Ring other than giving around 4.17 million Experience points and 2,150 pieces of gold. The rewards for "rescuing" the Arch Angel is 3.8 Billion experience points and 40 Quest Points.

Note this location is where you will find the Astral Plane. This is a end game area and you can't access it until you completed the Astral Forge quest line.
