Mausoleum Great Hall

Introduction

Welcome to the main area of the Underworld. As an undead character you'll be spending quite a bit of time here as it is the home of the Creatures of the Night Main Guild and the undead's version of the Mayor, i.e. the Lich King, who gives your character all the undead versions of the main storyline quests. The area is populated by Black Guards, which are clones of Shillatown's Town Guards. Attacking them should be avoided.

Other Amenities

Along with the above The Great Hall has a fountain that will restore your character. A couple of dead ends lead to nothing, and in the SW corner you'll find several graveyard rooms. The Burial Grounds, mentioned in one of the COTN quests, is located to the east of the Great Hall and is where your character begins their adventuring career.

A Crossroads

Four shafts lead to various sub areas of the Underworld, including the Training Level, Supply Level, Information Level and the Crematorium/Forge Level.

The exit to the south leads The Wet Tunnel with exits to the Farm Lands, Beach, Sand Mansion, Marshes of R Baldur, the Ocean, and the Tavern at the Shilladown Docks.

The one directional exit to the west and south in the forked like section leads to the Slippery Tunnel and if you have 80 intelligence you can exit up to the Dark Traveller in the Druid Valley. Otherwise you'll need to teleport out. Hope you get your Materialize spell first before entering…
