Shilla Gods

Introduction

At the end of the game, there are Gods in each of the 4 higher end areas: Enchanted Forest, Burning Lands, Depths of Gylmaron & Open Air.
These Gods are very powerful and can kill you instantly without proper preparation ahead of time. This page will describe where they reside, and how best to deal with them.
Gods also drop the absolute best weapon for each class, so there are 12 total(one of each weapon). Also there are 3 different difficulties of Gods; a lower tier, a middle tier, and a higher tier.

  • Lower tier drops Pink Pixie Dust.
  • Middle tier drops Purple Pixie Dust.
  • Higher tier drops Glittering Pixie Dust.

These Pixie Dusts allow you to access the zones of Elemental Chaos, Elemental Void, and Elemental Pools.

Also, there is a chance that they will drop Badges as well.

The drop rates for any of these things is very low(around 2-4%). So don't feel discouraged if you don't get something right away. Eventually you'll get something you'll need.

Combat

The sections below will tell you what to wear to minimize the most damage. However, once you get into the later areas of the game you may find even better equipment from Bosses in the Elemental Zones that give bonues to Spirit, Good and Evil alignment. Wearing them can be helpful, but note you can not reduce damage any more than 85%, so if your resist is higher than that it'll be pointless to equip.

Some guilds may struggle with doing damage against the Gods. Usually the ones who don't do special damage off of a creature's current health. There are 4 elite scrolls that a player may gather in order to do high end damage against a God.

They are:

Acid Ray - Assassins (dropped by Beast of Gylmaron)
Thor's Hammer - Barbarians(dropped by Tornados)
Ether Collapse - DeathReapers(dropped by Devil's Advocate)
Ether Storm - ManaMages(dropped by Magical Unicorn)
Sandstorm - Dark Wizards(dropped by White Tiger)
Void Snare - Shadowstalkers(dropped by Eagle Warrior)

However, from personal experience(as a Manamage at least), it's much faster and quicker to get Ice Scrolls from the Pyramid and use them. The drop rates are much higher and you may take a few rounds to kill some of the Gods, but I've found it to be more efficient. (I can not speak for the rest of the guilds, however.)

Also, just be aware that you have to wear specific equipment for these Gods, and wearing that equipment and fighting regular monsters can get you killed. Have suit macros for both the regular monsters in the area, and the Gods will be the most helpful.

The Depths of Gylmaron is the only place where you can not pick and choose to fight Gods, the entire area is Kill to Move. If you complete all the quests in this area, you can find specific hunting grounds for the Gods there, but otherwise pay attention to your combat suits.(This also gets explained later for importance)

Burning Lands

This area is the first area of the 4 where you can access and as long as you stay on the middle path, you can move freely through the zone. However, if you move away from the center, the area becomes kill to move with Elite monsters. Therefore, it is possible to fight Elite Gods. However, there isn't any real evidence that states fighting Elite Gods gives you any better equipment, or odds of getting equipment.

There are 9 columns in Burning Lands. Pluto's Minion can be found in columns 2-3, Pluto in 5-6, and God of the Underworld in 8-9.

To fight them, you'll need max Evil Resistance. Items needed are the:

  • Umbral Pendant - 35% Resist
  • Warlock Shielding Rings - 40% Maximum Resist total
  • Angelic Plate Amor - 10% Resist
Name Life Max Hit Alignment Weapon Drop
Pluto's Minion 600,000,000,000 3,750,000 Evil Hell Forged Axe

God of the Underworld 1,250,000,000,000 6,250,000 Evil Tome of Incineration

Open Air

There are 3 Towers that are the "God of Air" Towers. To access each one, you will need to kill one of the Burning Lands Gods in quests to access them.

God tower 1: 2,16,-6 fly Up (Kill Pluto's Minion)

God tower 2: 9,6,-6 fly up (Kill Pluto)

God tower 3: 12,4,-4 fly up (Kill God of the Underworld)

To fight them, you'll need max Spirit Resistance. Items needed are the:

  • Collar of Spiritual Domination - 35% Resist
  • Spiritual Shielding Rings - 40% Maximum Resist total
  • Spiritual War Plate - 10% Resist
Name Tower Life Max Hit Alignment Weapon
Nymphe of the Breeze Tower 1 800,000,000,000 4,500,000 Spirit Mace of the Winds
Aura Tower 2 1,000,000,000,000 6,000,000 Spirit Auraic Orb
God of the 4 Winds Tower 3 1,500,000,000,000 6,500,000 Spirit Sword of the 4 Winds

Enchanted Forest

The Gods in the Enchanted Forest spawn in grid-based sections of the map. You don't need to do any additional quests besides the initial one for access. The 3 Gods can be found without completing any additional quests(however, they may provide a quicker path to them).
Since all of these are Neutral alignment, equipment is a challenge to gather, and therefore these might be better off tackling until the end. More information can be found below.

Within the Enchanted Forest, three powerful gods reside in distinct grid sections:

  • Gaia's Minion: Found within a 4x4 grid space closest to the starting location.
  • Gaia: Resides in a 3x3 section located in the northern area of the zone.
  • Mother Earth: Occupies a 5x5 grid space in the southwest corner.

To fight them, you'll need high Neutral Resistance (also referred to as Void Resistance in equipment names). Achieving maximum resistance in this zone is particularly challenging due to the equipment requirements, making these gods generally the hardest to defeat among the four higher-end areas.

Items crucial for Neutral/Void Resistance include:

  • Voiding Shielding Rings - 40% Maximum Resist total (Requires 2 rings)
  • Voidal Immunity Leggings - 10% Resist

Additionally, acquiring armor from the Elemental Void zone is critical for boosting your Neutral/Void Resistance. Each of the four pieces from Elemental Void provides 10% Neutral/Void Resistance, granting a total of 40% when all four pieces are equipped. This equipment, however, is obtained from monsters in the Elemental Void zone, which requires Purple Pixie Dust (dropped by Middle Tier Gods) to access.

Name Life Max Hit Alignment Weapon Drop
Gaia's Minion 650,000,000,000 2,500,000 Neutral Gaia's Bow
Gaia 1,200,000,000,000 2,750,000 Neutral Gaia's Staff
Mother Earth 1,500,000,000,000 3,000,000 Neutral Deep Ones Claw

Depths of Gylmaron

The Gods here are intertwined in intersections where there are 3(or more) intersections in a path. If you see the monster "Beast of Gylmaron", you'll know you are in the right spot.

Once you complete all the quests for this area, you can go down to the last 3 levels of the zone where all those areas are Gods only, and can be farmed easier.

If you can not kill a God, use a trampoline and go back and forth. The Algae the Beast drops is a 100% drop, so you'll always have something to use to go back with.

Important Notice: Since the entire area is Kill to Move, ensure you are constantly switching between Water Alignment for regular creatures and Good Alignment for the Gods. Failure to pay attention to your active resistance alignment will almost certainly result in instant death.

To combat the gods here, you will need high Good Alignment resistance.

Items crucial for Good Alignment resistance include:

Astral Pendant - 35% Resistance
Astral Shielding Rings - 40% Maximum Resistance total
Devilish Neckband - 10% Resistance

Name Life Max Hit Alignment Weapon Drop
Neptun's Minors 500,000,000,000 3,000,000 Good Wand of Gylmaron
Neptune 750,000,000,000 4,000,000 Good Spear of the Depths
God of the Seas 1,000,000,000,000 5,000,000 Good Dagger of the Depths

Conclusion

The Gods can maybe be a goal to work for end game, but once you've gotten your weapon, and explored the areas after this with the dusts required, you may find yourself taking a victory lap and not really touching these guys much more after. Pain to find, pain to drop, and pain to swap out equipment, just a pain overall.
