Spell and Skills

Shilla Spells

Spells are used for offensive and defensive purposes in Shilla. They are very effective for their own reasons, but some of them you can only obtain by being a member of the Mana User's Guild. Other spells you can train in Shillatown and places like the Elven Village, Draconian Lair and Necropolis.

Max Spell Levels

Guild Spell Max Levels
Guildless All their spell levels combined, cannot go over twice their Intelligence. Also any one spell cannot go over their Intelligence.
Fighter All their spell levels combined, cannot go over their Intelligence.
Mana Users Any one spell cannot go higher than their Intelligence.
Thieves All their spell levels combined, cannot go over twice their Intelligence. Also any one spell cannot go over their Intelligence.

Spells in Shilla also have alignments which effect the casting ability and the effectiveness of each spell. You'll find the alignment under the appropriate section of spells below. Spirit Aligned players are strong for all these spells.

Travel Spells

These are spells that allow you to travel to other areas of Shilla without having you walk all the way. Travel Spells in Shilla are Air Aligned.
Note: Wearing 2 Ring of Neutrality ring's increase the power of travel spells by 10%.

Healing Spells

These are spells that restore your stats during fights. They allow you to heal your life without having to eat between attacks. Healing spells in Shilla are Water Aligned.
Note: Wearing 2 Ring of the White Mage ring's increase the power of healing spells by 10%.

Offensive Spells

These are spells that deal damage to your opponent. Offensive Spells are Fire Aligned.
Note: Wearing 2 Ring of the Black Mage ring's increase the power of offensive spells by 10%.

Defensive Spells

These are spells that protect your character from being dealt damage. The higher the spell, the more your character will be protected for. Defensive Spells are Earth Aligned.

Skills

These are things you MUST have trained! They allow you to find rare items that could turn out to be helpful to you for forging, and for use during gameplay.

  • Mining is obtained by learning it in the Dwarven Stronghold.
  • Treasure Hunting is obtained by learning it from the Traveling Merchant in the Vast Desert.
